The West Atlantic Group is one of the markets leading providers of dedicated airfreight service to European National Mail Organisations and airfreight capacity to Global Integrators and Freight Forwarders.
The Group has a well-established geographic network and operate a customised aircraft fleet of around 30 aircrafts, which includes the ATR and Boeing 737-300 / 400 / 800.
West Atlantic was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in office buildings at Malmö Airport, Sweden. Operation is performed all over Europe with a staff around 450 employees. West Atlantic holds two Air Operating Certificates, one in UK and one in Sweden, which together operate around 22,000 flights serving more than 40 destinations. Focus is on safe operations, high reliability, and customer service.

West Atlantic is looking for a Training Coordinator in our training department. The job is fast paced in an ever changing and exciting environment.

As Training coordinator, you will work closely with Head of Training to make sure that all training for flight crews is conducted in accordance with EASA and company regulations. You will among other things:

• Keep an up-to-date record of all completed training for all company pilots.
• Make sure all pilot licenses and medical certificates are up to date and current.
• Make sure all pilots get their training and checking within the correct time frame.
• You will also assist Head of Training in development of new training and checks.
• You will approve all documentation and records that are submitted by the company instructors to ensure everything is filled out correctly.
• You will be in contact with external training facilities to schedule ground- and simulator training.

You will have the opportunity to be part of an airline training operation with daily communication to pilots, instructors, airline management, simulator training providers and civil aviation authorities.

• Some knowledge of aviation training and regulatory requirements.

We see the right candidate as someone with previous aviation experience as for example: Pilot, Flight Instructor, Cabin Crew or previous experience within an airline/aviation training organisation.

The candidate is expected to work from our office at Malmo Airport.

As the workplace is in a security classified area, you must be able to pass a security test including a background check.
