You will be part of Robotics in Västerås. We develop, manufacture and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees who are located in Västerås and Gothenburg. More than 90 percent of our production is exported and all the major automotive manufacturers are among our customers. The automotive industry and their subcontractors, as well as other industries such as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation. Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging, and assembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robot systems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding system integrators and OEM companies and these are the firms we call our business partners.
Tasks
If you want to increase the competence within Robotics worldwide, this is the challenge for you. We are in an expansive period and need to strengthen our Internal Training team with a driven Training Coordinator. Your main responsibility will be to develop, communicate and promote our training offers globally. This includes coordinating training for both new and existing products, primarily within positions such as sales and service. Together with your team of seven, you will be developing, simplifying, documenting and increasing the availability of the training as well as the processes and routines. As Robotics' representative, you will collaborate with the different units, and together you will maintain and further develop a competence program for Value Based Selling.
As we expand quickly, many products need training every year. Therefore, training within ABB has become a highly valued and important component to succeed. Here, you will be provided with the possibility to develop fast and the opportunity to work globally.
Requirements
To succeed in this extrovert position, you need to be outgoing, creative and have great communication and people skills. You hold a university degree along with a technical understanding and the ability to organize and administrate. Knowledge within training and a graphical sense are highly valued. You also have experience from an international company and a position as team leader. Experience from the robot industry is an advantage.
As this position involves leading, coordinating and collaborating with colleagues worldwide, you need to master English. Swedish is also a requirement, whereas Chinese is an advantage.
