Purpose of the Job
As a Train Software System Engineer you will support the Nordics Digital Solutions team with deploying and maintaining train to ground / wayside systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
The job requires devising solutions, arguing the merits and demerits of a solution and preparing a case accordingly for the solutions implementation or rejection.
It is important to have good knowledge of IT based systems with multiple integrated applications.
Strong communication skills are required. The work requires coordination with different stakeholders.
It is expected from the resource to have good time management skills.
Preferred background in development or understanding of the basic programming and database concepts. Will be very helpful in understanding different applications in the system.
Should have at least 5 years of experience. The nature of work is such that there will be working on different areas (from providing engineering support, to documentation and requirement closure).
Key requirements:
Experience of TCMS, remote vehicle communication, ground systems is desired.
Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, electronics or electronics and communication.
Senior working experience in software engineering, application development, diagnostics for rail vehicle.
Wi-Fi solutions knowledge.
Data communication networks knowledge.
Cyber Security knowledge.
Fluent in English.
