TRADE MARKETING MANAGER

Job description
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager with a category management mindset, for the leading Scandinavian tissue brands Serla and Lambi to our business in Sweden.

Key responsibilities
As a Trade Marketing Manager you will have a crucial role in executing our brand strategies in the in-store environment, driving successful campaigns and securing maximum visibility for our brands in stores, on the shelves as well and on secondary placements.

You are an expert in trade marketing and have a good knowledge of the Swedish retail environment, as well as a clear understanding of how the FMCG retail works. You are passionate to develop activities that fit the retail customers' strategies and our brands. You are able to drive trade activities proactively from planning to high quality execution in store, as well as analytical follow-up for constant improvement.

Based on analysis of shopper behavior you are dedicated to develop fact-based and insight-driven trade and category related strategies. You can identify initiatives that will help us grow the category with our customers and can provide logic argumentation for strong sell-in and sell-out.

As a Trade Marketing Manager you will be a crucial link between Marketing and Sales teams, working especially close to field sales. You have good capability to handle stress and changing situations, good presentation skills and ability to build clear argumentation, and a proactive attitude to take things forward and execute excellently. You are not afraid of routines and details, but you also have an analytical and a creative mind to find solutions to different challenges.

Within the continuously evolving retail environment, we are looking for a proactive person who has good abilities to develop the trade role further.

Prerequisites
• You have a University/Bachelor degree within Economics, Marketing or similar.

• Minimum 3 years of experience from a similar role and/or experience from a commercial function within FMCG industry.

• Preferably experience from working with category management.

• Experience from working in a Sales organization and interacting with customers is a benefit.

• You are structured, well organized, results oriented and have a commercial business interest.

• You have a good level of analytical skills and problem solving; ability to compose and present strong data based arguments.

• Used to working with sales data and sales data software, e.g. Nielsen

• A team-player who works and contributes pro-actively - both independently, in teams and across the organization.

• You have an innovative mind and a strong sense of quality. Preferably experience from working with Advertising/Trade agencies.

• Experience from project management.

• Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.

• Fluent in Swedish and English.

• Strong computer skills (MS Office)

• A willingness to travel (the position includes some travelling, mostly Sweden but also to other Nordic countries).

• Finally, a person who likes to have fun with a great Nordic team!
