Do you want to contribute to make a difference in Trade Compliance & Product Classification within ABB? We are now looking for a Trade Compliance Officer & Product Classification Engineer to join our Smart Power division in Västerås, Sweden.

This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager.
Your responsibilities
Provide the business managers and organization periodic updates regarding customs, export control and sanction laws/regulations.
With the help of technical expertise document and perform customs and export control classification of our product.
Capability to read, understand and apply large amount of information and effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
Execute operational export control, sanctions and customs related task in the unit.
Communicate with and to government agencies regarding export control and customs authorizations in Sweden and internationally.
Actively participate in local and global trade compliance community within ABB.
Your background
University degree in Engineering, Business, Law or equivalent Industry experience
Business mindset, responsiveness, strong sense of ownership, sense of details, self-driven personality and willingness to explore.
Focused and able to work with details as well as understand and transfer this knowledge into a larger context.
Experience and understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, risk management and logistics
Knowledge of export controls, sanctions and customs is meritorious
Proffessional communication skills in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike
