hela Sverige For our Communications and Language Team we seek a committed and positive employee for our vacant full-time position as a Swedish Language Consultant.
You will be employed in our Communications and Language Team which consists of 11 employees. Some colleagues are seated at the head office in Tune in Denmark; others are seated in local offices around the world. Knowing English is a requirement as our corporate language is English. Your workplace is either going to be our head office in Tune, Denmark, or our office in Malmö.
Your Fields of Work
TOP-TOY A/S is an interesting company with lots of activities. This will also affect your job. You will be translating packaging texts and instructions for our items / toys, printed catalogues for BR-Leksaker and TOYSâ€Râ€US, web material, texts for store material and cash receipts, commercials, adverts, manuals etc. into Swedish. The source language is primarily English; however, it might also be Danish. Furthermore, you will be proofreading and giving advice concerning Swedish language and culture.
Your Profile
You handle your Swedish native language perfectly in writing and speech and master English at a high level both in written and oral form. You have a relevant linguistic education. You are used to working IT such as Word and know your way around the Office suite. Also you use the Internet as information searching tool and knowledge of TRADOS is a plus. It would also be to your advantage if you have some understanding of other North European languages and cultures.
As a person you devote yourself to perfect language and have a well-developed sense of order. As a colleague you are positive, cheerful and thrive to work in a team. You like being busy, and you are not intimidated by tasks that need to be done instantly.
