As a developer, you will gain a broad knowledge of the control system with a good overview of how the functions are connected in the software. As SW developer at Embedded Tools and Test Environment, you are involved in developing an exciting and increasingly global product. You belong to a group that is constantly working towards an virtualized environment.
Today our group of fifteen colleagues develop existing and new SW test tools and applications, various HIL and SIL models as well as test development environments. Assignment
You work on developing and integrating testing solutions for an ECU system focusing ICE and BEV powertrains. You will be part of our group that provides the organization with a complete test environment solution. An important part of your assignment is to explore new methods and ideas as we constantly search for better ways to develop and verify future products. As OTA updates and cyber security gain in importance these areas will form a core part of your assignment along with ECU flashing/manipulation methods at R&D. Your personal growth opportunities in our organization are large and wide. Depending on your interest, there is scope to become an expert in the field of SW or test development, take responsibility for competence groups or project management among many other things. The job is varied and requires smooth cooperation in the entire development chain. The contact networks you build will give you good opportunities throughout the company.
Your profile
You are a curious and driven developer with solid experience in programming, software development and maintenance. You are proficient in C# and its accompanying .NET framework as well as Object Oriented Programming in general. You also have Python experience. As data analytics becomes more prevalent in our product development and evaluation, we consider such skills advantageous. Good cloud and container knowledge would also be beneficial.
We would also like you to have an interest in embedded systems, tests, driveline development or vehicles. You are fluent in English. Swedish language skills are also very useful.
In order to thrive within Scania you should have a technically critical mindset, embrace challenges and understand the importance of cooperation. You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with unknown coupled with a desire to find solutions together with your colleagues. Continuous improvement is part of our daily work.
