PRESENTATION
DeLaval, with headquarter in Tumba, is looking for an experienced financial accountant to the Corporate Accounting and Finance Department.
The Financial Accountant will report to the Director Corporate Accounting, Finance, Legal and Taxes. The responsibilities will comprise Accounting and Consolidation, Corporate Finance and other corporate projects.
Publiceringsdatum2007-10-18ArbetsuppgifterAccounting and Consolidation:
• Be part of team which prepares half yearly Consolidated Financial Statements and be able to accurately consolidate international and domestic operations
• Analyse reports, carry out foreign currency translations and be able to work with each local controller to resolve accounting issues
• Responsible for timely reporting of internal and external consolidated financial statements
• Operate and maintain consolidation accounting systems
• Assist in making and rolling out accounting policies and procedures
• Knowledgeable of IFRS accounting rules and how to apply
• Participate in and carry out training of the DeLaval financial community in Accounting and Accounting related subjects.
Corporate finance:
• Part of team which prepares and follows up on corporate finance aspects like cash and borrowings, netting, treasury and currency exposures
• Pro-active in follow up of finance issues with local subsidiaries
• Knowledgeable and experienced in managing operating capital and cash flow and able to advise local controllers in this area
Other:
• Involved in other corporate projects like corporate governance
• Carry out shareholder related activities like preparing legal documents
Erfarenhet• You have relevant experience in Accounting and Consolidation
• Degree in this area is a plus
• A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience working within multiple areas of accounting including but not limited to: reporting, consolidation accounting, controlling and financing
• Fluent in English
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office , especially Excel

• A strong team player that can work with all levels of management within the company
• Independent and selfgoing
