We are now looking for a Sourcing and investment buyer who will be working in our global purchasing team, reporting to Purchase Director ESAC. The role of a Sourcing and investment buyer at TitanX gives you the opportunity to work in a global and growing company with a strong foundation in the automotive industry, working with Europe, America, India and China. Our environment is intense due to competition and this is what we like. You will be part of building a new organization, a new team and defining roles within Purchasing. We expect you to contribute and bring value to the Purchasing Sweden team, and you will be part of the Purchasing team ESAC (Europe, South America and China).
The position could be based at our sites in Mjällby or Linköping.
Your role
The Sourcing and investment buyer is responsible for the execution of the sourcing process for Indirect and Investment categories. You analyse, evaluate and execute current processes and practices, develop and execute the sourcing strategy with the objective of ensuring that targets are met within the overall framework of TitanX objectives for Indirect and Investment categories. The position is responsible to coordinate and lead local sourcing for Indirect categories and Investments, and regional/global sourcing within selected categories.
* Own the Indirect material and investment budget/objectives
* Lead and coordinate the local purchase for Indirect categories and investments
* Lead and coordinate regional/global category sourcing efforts within selected categories
* Lead and support local, regional/global negotiations for indirect categories
* Develop the sourcing process for Indirect/Investments
* Design, negotiate and sign contract as per authorization matrix
* Manage, develop and maintain supplier panel for indirect and investment categories
* Monitor, track and execute sourcing activities and supplier panel development
* Monitor and track supplier performances
* Benchmark, analysis and follow-up of market and secure that the best conditions are reached
Your profile
You like working in a climate with rapid changes and are motivated by planning and driving your work and take decisions within your area of responsibility. You are proactive, take initiative, see what needs to be done and do it.
You have relevant education and/or acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. We also see that you have five years work experience within purchasing, sourcing/Vendor development - preferably experience in indirect purchasing categories and in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
You have a strong and proven knowledge and skills in negotiation, detailed cost analysis, Microsoft Excel, and experience from manufacturing processes. You also must be fluent in English, both in speech and in writing.
