How can Siemens accelerate its contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals?

Assignment

Siemens is committed to contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through products and solutions, responsible business practices, strategic partnerships, and targeted community activities. In order to evaluate our impact on the SDG:s from various perspectives, Siemens has developed a proprietary methodology - the "Business to Society (B2S) methodology, which allows us to measure the impacts of our businesses and activities.

We are now searching for a thesis worker that can help us to execute our "Business-to-Society" approach for Siemens operations in the Nordics.

The detailed direction of thesis is not yet finalized but will be communicated during selection process of candidates.

Example of challenges:

• Identifying and measuring our contribution in the priority areas

• Adopting an" outside-in" perspective on the most relevant sustainable development priorities for Siemens operations in the Nordics

Who are we looking for?

You should be in your final year of Master of Science Studies with a profound interest for sustainability. Preliminary start date is September this year, however we are flexible for the students wishes. Remuneration for the Thesis Work is paid out when the work is completed and with a high quality. You have business-fluent Swedish and English skills.
