Within ÅF Automotive R&D we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM 's, startup companies and system suppliers. We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
The automotive industry are rapidly changing towards hybrid and electrical drivelines, targeting maintained/improved comfort for the passengers. This requires existing technology to be combined with the latest and previously stand-alone systems to be integrated.
We are now looking for Thermal Engineers within Climate, Cooling and Battery Thermal Management to support our customers develop systems of the future. Your role will be to lead and coordinate all verification activities within your responsibility, it could be in-house or at the customer. Potential issues found needs to be analyzed and addressed. Work is done in close cooperation with design and CAE team. Developing requirements and verification methods is also a part of the assignment.
Who are you?
You are a brave and devoted team player with experience from development of HVAC/Cooling/Battery Thermal management. No challenge is too great and your mindset is to always add value to our customers.
Your academic background is a Bachelor or Master degree within heat transfer, fluid dynamics and refrigerant machines and you have probably been working at a global OEM or Tier 1, but is now looking for a new challenging career path. You have experience as design or test engineer (or both) and can transfer theoretical analysis and knowledge into practical solutions. You have experience from working with data acquisition systems like IPEtronik, Dewesoft, CANalyzer etc. Your business English is fluent both verbally and in writing and you communicate easily with both peers and management. A Swedish driver license is required.
