Are you goal oriented combined with a passion for doing business?
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to strengthen our team.
As a Business Development Manager you will drive and manage the business development needs in close collaboration with our Sales and Marketing functions. You will have direct contact with potential customers, addressing growth opportunities based on our growth plans and portfolio development.
The role will be active in several countries and market across Europe. Therefore, the location of this position is not yet decided.
Main responsibilities
• Identify business opportunities
• Develop a strategy to approach the business, establish volume and profitability targets for new business
• Contact Retailers and prospects, present Tetra Recart solutions and develop understanding of customer needs
• Drive the sales process internally and close deals with customers for capital equipment installations
• Attend specific trade shows and exhibitions to develop networks and awareness about new products and segments
Qualifications
We believe that you have a strong personal drive for results in combination with the ability to build networks and relationships with other people. As you will be working in partnership with many key stake holders externally as well as internally you will need to possess a high level of collaboration, engagement and project leadership skills. You are agile in your approach, have an ability to sell your ideas to others and your communication skills are excellent. For this position, you need to have a solid business understanding and an understanding of technical solutions.
We believe you have a University degree in Business Administration or Engineering in combination with 3-5 years of commercial experience. Experience from the Retail, food and packaging industry is seen as an advantage. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required. Knowledge in other languages is an advantage.
