hela Sverige Tetra Recart is looking for an External Supply Manager within Capital Equipment. You will be part of a small team of committed individuals with the overall target to develop our suppliers performance to continuously delivery faster, better and cheaper. The position is located at the Lund office.
As an External Supply Manager your will be responsible for a range of activities in the interface between Tetra Recart and our suppliers in order to establish a lean way of working.
Responsibilities
• Manage the order situation with the supplier, i.e. issue orders, verify and register order acknowledgements, invoice control and follow up of deviances.
• Support supplier selection for e.g. prototypes and negotiate the terms and conditions.
• Coordinate ongoing project and production activities at our main suppliers.
• Coordinate claim activities.
• Verify and implement engineering changes at our suppliers.
• Update various data bases with commercial as well as technical information.
• SAP R3 administration
Qualifications
You possess a genuine interest for purchasing matters where being commercial is a natural behaviour. Your main skills are in the area of being structured and organized. You must feel comfortable dealing with a wide network and have the ability to deal with multitasking.
We believe that you have several years of experience from a purchasing environment. Of importance is also experience from mechanical design, e.g. ability to analyze drawings to support negotiations and supplier selections.
You have experience from Mechanical Automation/Production engineering, preferably from a manufacturing company. It is an advantage if you have knowledge in food industry capital equipment.
The person we are looking for have an upper secondary school degree and preferable a Mechanical/Automation/Production Engineering education.
You have good skills in Microsoft Office and preferable knowledge in SAP R3.
Naturally you are proficient in English both verbal and written where other languages are a merit.
