Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from being a traditional truck manufacturer to becoming a provider of complete transport solutions. Our success requires smart IT solutions due to increase in the use of digital technology. As a result, Scania IT will be an important player in this change process.

The Order to Delivery (O2D) department within Scania IT is responsible for developing and managing IT support systems within Scania's entire flow from customer order to logistics, production, delivery and invoicing, as well as industrial maintenance. The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) organisation responsibility is to supply MES application support to Scania's production. We are also a key player when Scania takes the next step into Industry 4.0 and IoT.

The team, which currently consists of around 18 people: maintenance managers, test managers, testers, developers, business analysts and software architects, that supports Scania's production operations in Sweden, Europe and Brazil. The team is involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and maintenance. We are aiming for self-supporting teams with focus on quality assurance.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member of a development team where your responsibility will be:

Analyse use cases and detailed design documents to derive test objectives
Documenting and executing test cases based on the test objectives
Executing test cases/scripts, for integration, regression, and performance testing
Contribute to designing, building, testing, and deploying effective test automation solutions using Selenium.
Report bugs/issues from test execution for achieving high quality.
Coordinating review of test objectives with appropriate project members
Driving innovation and manage testing development needs within a fast paced, agile environment
Delivering feedback and improving ways of working with test methodologies

Your profile
We believe that you have a university degree within IT/Computer Science or similar, complemented with 2-3 years' experience from testing. We also think you have the following:

Experience with Agile or iterative/incremental software development methods such as SCRUM,KANBAN.
Test automation using Selenium, QTP, Test Complete or programming experience is strongly desired (e.g. Java,.Net)
Experience from working with JIRA
Ability to analyse specifications to derive a set of test objectives and test cases
Proficient and efficient in test implementation and execution
Ability to articulate current status, blocking issues, and task estimates


What will make you stand out from other candidates

ISTQB certifications could be a plus
Good at SQL or other DB technologies and confident in creating queries to validate data integrity and other data constraints.
Have working experience with Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Test Manager
Have working experience with SOAP UI
Have good understanding of basic OOPS concepts in Java/.Net
