We are looking for a tester with experince in data warehousing.
Publiceringsdatum2012-10-18Dina arbetsuppgifterThe tester's main responsibility is to ensure the quality of our releases. The platform consists of report and analysis tools Cognos and SSAS (cubes), data integration tool Informatica PowerCenter and Netezza database appliance. As a tester you will work within a scrum team.
Your main areas of responsibilities will be:
• test/QA business reports and analysis; that they are consistent with business rules and requirements, in terms of functionality, usability, performance etc.
• test planning, coordination and follow-up
• produce test specifications and test reports
• produce test data
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• at least two years' experience of testing of business intelligence/data warehouse, and primary of business reports and analysis
• experience and knowledge of test principals and methods, and preferably in an agile/scrum context
• experience of working in Cognos or other BI tools
• experience of complex SQL
• experience and knowledge of retail industry and sales business are appreciated
• experience of ETL test with Informatica PowerCenter (also with Debugger tool) is a plus
• experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse appliances (i.e. Netezza, Teradata) is a plus.
