About the role
A Tester at IST is a team-based role, working together with others to ensure the quality of the products. This can apply to everything from UI, performance and api:s.
A Tester works closely with developers in the team, and other team's Testers on technical matters ranging from automated testing to softer issues like defining and maintaining testing strategies and guidelines.
You will work with manual feature tests, system tests and develop & optimize automated tests. If you haven't worked with test automation before, this is a perfect opportunity to grow in that field.
About you
You are a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve results together. As a person, you show responsibility, make things happen and you are not afraid to dig deep into the products. You are curious, exploratory, quality minded and eager to learn.
Competence and experience
The following skills and experience are required or highly valuable:
• Testing software
• SQL/databases
• Some scripting language
• Test- and bug tracking systems
