About the Role
You will work hands-on with test vehicles in an automotive development environment where software, hardware and vehicle configurations need to work reliably before handover to users. In this role, you help secure vehicle uptime through fault tracing, updates and repair work, while supporting ongoing product development activities in a workshop setting.
The assignment combines practical vehicle work with close collaboration across development, suppliers and workshop operations. You will handle both planned updates and urgent troubleshooting, including issues linked to configurations that are not yet fully developed or integrated. It is a strong opportunity for you who enjoy technical problem-solving close to the product and want to contribute to quality and timely deliveries.
Job DescriptionYou will trace and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in test vehicles.
You will update software and hardware based on project requests and work orders.
You will support delivery activities before vehicle registration and handover to users.
You will build and adapt harnesses and ETC solutions for project requests.
You will carry out repair work and de-prep activities after life cycle use.
You will support product development by updating test vehicles in line with requested configurations.
You will collaborate with suppliers and take part in expeditions when needed.
You will help secure timely deliveries with the right quality and contribute to daily workshop operations, including good order and 5S.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or long practical work experience within the area.
Good complete vehicle knowledge within HW, SW and EV.
Experience in electrical fault tracing using a computer and relevant analysis tools such as DSA and ZDS.
Good computer knowledge.
Driver's license category B.
Forklift license.
Intermediate level in English, oral and written.
You are able to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
Nice to havePreferably minimum 5 years' experience as a workshop technician for complete vehicles.
Experience with measurement and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer and INCA.
Certificate for HV-work (power up/power down).
Certificate for hot work.
