hela Sverige As a Test Technician you will, depending on your experience, be responsible for setting up and conducting tests and measurements at various test equipment. You are also responsible for checking and maintaining of test setups and systems. You will work closely with test engineers in Product Development projects and, when required, you will be involved in the acquisition, design, manufacturing and installation of new equipment.
Job responsibilities:
• To assemble and dis-assemble test setups for tests or investigations
• To perform tests and measurements and other experimental investigations
• To operate advanced equipment with appropriate competence including, mechanical systems, lubrication units, hydraulic systems, data control and acquisition systems
• To support the acquisition, design, manufacture and installation of test equipment
• To perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment
• To act as equipment owner and establish and maintain operational procedures
• To ensure reliability, accuracy and traceability of measurements
• To perform calibration of measurements equipment
• To ensure that EHS regulation and guidelines are followed
• To ensure that SKF quality systems and standards are followed
• To plan and structure you own work
Requirements:
• You have finished a vocational education within Mechanical Engineering or Fine Mechanical Techniques
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience within mechanics, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have experience from working with measuring equipment
• Very good command of the English language is a prerequisite

• You have a hands-on approach and are used to working in an accurate way
• You are a motivated, service oriented and pro-active
• You have good communication skills and prefer to work as part of a team
