We are looking for a Team Manager to strengthen our Test team. As a Team Manager for the Test team you will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems with a special focus on Couplers. You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to the RAMS/LCC & Test Manager.
Your role:
• Lead and develop the Test team consisting of Test Engineers and Test Technicians.
• Plan and allocate resources to effectively meet the department goals and budget.
• Create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's vision.
• Participate in the development of new test methods and equipment improvements.
• Collaborate regularly internally with other managers in relevant levels, both local and global, to ensure a functional communication exchange.
• Produce type Record, Type test procedures and results according to company standard and participate or witness the type tests, document and write result.
• Secure Health and Safety for the employees in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Collaborate regularly internally with other managers in relevant levels, both local and global, to ensure a functional communication exchange.
• Traveling may be necessary in accordance with the project requirements.
We assume:
• BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• You have a good technical understanding with skills to deliver precise work results.
• Customer and service orientated approach with a positive mindset to visit our customers.
• Good technical understanding and analytical skills.
• You are team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments.
• You have a structured way of working, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.
Success factors:
• Prior experience with ISO 17025.
• Previous experience of working with train products.
• Previous experience of working according to Lean and 5S.
• Prior experience as a manager, with immediate responsibility for staff.
