You have worked with testing software in a fast-paced environment, you have demonstrated an ability to learn and you have software engineering experience (code development). You have knowledge in the following areas:· Performance test and/or test automation domain · the test tools relevant to the specific position and how to use them according to set processes· programming languages and techniques relevant to the specific position· test processes, methods and how to use them in daily work· of IKEA's IT processes and methods relevant for the specific position and how to use them in daily work· the different components, dependencies and structure of the technical platform, infrastructure and IT services relevant for the specific position· Apply methodologies for continuous improvement and how to apply them· Understanding of modern software development and testing in the future at Group Digital As a person you are structured, service minded, organised and have the ability to prioritize. You have a strong ability to connect and build trustful relationships and networks with people internally and externally of IKEA. You have ability to take leadership, co-operate and coordinate activities across processes, Solution management areas and IT suppliers. ABOUT THE JOBThe Test Specialist delivers test services and specific test expertise to our consumers to improve quality and testing in deliveries. Taking an end-to-end responsibility in delivering the test services according to set process. Support testing in service and project deliveries with test specialist competence, tools and best practises. You will:· take an end-to-end responsibility in delivering test service assignments to our consumers according to set process· support the testing area with specific specialist competence, such as Test Automation and Performance Test with relevant test tools· support testing of infrastructure releases· take own initiative and lead in performing stakeholder analysis and involving them early in set processes· continuous improvement of offered services, tools, frameworks, processes and working routines· transfer and share knowledge with co-workers· provide specific test consultation and advice to releases and projects, such as support in software design, risk workshops and review of non-functional requirements· provide reviews of test artefacts related to specialist competence, such as performance test results and automated tests· provide test tool expertise to service consumers, projects and external IT suppliers as well as support and educate in the usage of offered services, test tools, frameworks and best practices· keep updated on industry trends and best practices within the specific area
