We are currently looking for a Test Rig Developer for our customer within the automotive industry in Gothenburg.
Work description:
You will be a part of our test rig development team that develop and maintain HIL rigs for verification purposes within the electrical department on customer site. Your main responsibilities will be to update and maintain the hardware in the HIL systems and also handle the administration connected to these tasks. You will give support to local integration and verification engineers and since the team is global it will also involve communication and support to our other test sites.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Troubleshooting and support Fault tracing in the HIL rigs and in the electrical architecture. Give support to integration & verification engineers. Hardware updates and rig builds. Perform wiring and soldering on electrical parts of the HIL rigs.Test of performed updates with help of software tools. Installation and integration of new System, Sub-system and ECU test systems. Administration: Write and maintain hardware technical documentation for Autosim test rig platform. Design rig electrical and mechanical schematics. Configuration Management connected to the HIL systems. Software development: Possibility to get involved in simulation software and model development. Installation and maintenance of HIL System PC environment
Personal skills needed:
• Hardware electronics competence
• Experience in hardware schematics and documentation
• Soldering skills
• Automotive wire harnessing skills
• Knowledge from automotive industry Software development experience
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
