About the Assignment
You will join a Product Verification team in an international R&D environment focused on construction equipment. The team works close to product development and evaluates both new concepts and products in series production, using test rigs, laboratory environments, and dedicated outdoor test areas where testing creates the most value.
In this role, your main focus is testing within the Wall Saws and Power Packs area. You will cover the full test cycle from planning and setup to execution, analysis, and reporting, while working closely with engineers across R&D. You will also have opportunities to contribute to other product areas over time, which makes this a great assignment if you enjoy combining hands-on testing with technical analysis and continuous improvement.
Job DescriptionYou will plan, set up, execute, and evaluate tests for products in different phases of the product development lifecycle.
You will analyze specifications and product architecture, and break down requirements for test planning in line with the V-model and the T&V test strategy.
You will document results, create clear and traceable reports, and present an objective view of product status, remaining risks, and recommended next steps.
You will provide fact-based recommendations, including gate and go/no-go input when relevant.
You will improve, develop, or create test codes to strengthen the quality and efficiency of testing.
You will participate actively in risk assessments, test planning, and dialogue with project teams.
You will perform exploratory testing to investigate concepts and help define or refine specifications.
You will contribute to better test methods, capture lessons learned, and share them with relevant stakeholders.
You will help maintain good structure and order in laboratory environments, facilities, and vehicles used in testing.
RequirementsBachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or similar experience.
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Good understanding of physical aspects and the ability to see connections between cause and effect.
Ability to understand systems from an end-user perspective and curiosity about how products are used in practice.
Experience of hands-on testing, including planning, setup, execution, evaluation, and reporting.
Nice to haveExperience of testing gearboxes, motors, and/or PLC systems.
Experience in construction and/or laboratory work.
