Business Unit Liquid Food (BU LF) is responsible for development and manufacturing of solutions, branded processing units and key components for the processing of liquid foods in the area of dairy, beverage and prepared food. We work closely with our clusters and customers to understand their true needs. To secure that we, create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers. BU LF has approx. 460 employees in four main sites: Sweden, USA, India, Singapore, Switzerland and Denmark.
What you will do
As Manager for the Test & Commissioning team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining specialist capability within the organisation and secure that we deploy this knowledge globally. You will be a member of the Operations management team in Order Execution. You will plan and manage commissioning and troubleshooting support to the Markets and are responsible to secure your utilization and selling of this key competence globally. You will be responsible for the planning and resources setting of in-house tests. You own the strategy of department and its successful implementation. You will recruit the best competence and develop your team to world-class which are requested by both Clusters and customers. Now and then you will lead and take direct part in the daily activities at customer site as well to upkeep your competence and awareness of the customer voice as well as an understanding in the environment in which your team operate. You will have a group of approx. 15 people, Commissioning Engineers reporting to you.
This role is based in Lund, Sweden and will require travelling approximately 30 days/ year.
You will focus on
• Build and maintain capability within the Test & Commissioning team
• Secure that feedback captured during missions related to design, quality and operation is handed over to relevant stakeholders
• Drive activities to improve the quality of test and the commissioning processes
• Build and maintain professional network with Clusters and other BU LF organizations
• Plan and follow up objectives/budget for the department and direct reports
Who you are
To be successful in this role you need to be a professional, experienced and team-oriented leader. You like to work pro-actively and get energized by last-minute requests that you will delegate and have the ability to motivate a team in a changing environment. You are eager to learn and share these learnings with your team. You are excellent at communication and networking.
We believe you have an Engineering degree and at least 7 years of experience within commissioning and/or trouble shooting in a factory environment, in the processing of food industry. You have experience in leading a team and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
