hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Ascade AB i Stockholm The CSG Assure team is growing and we are looking to strengthen our team with a Test Network Specialist working in our Test Network Operations Center Team (NOC) to ensure that our global test network provide excellent performance to our customers.
CSG Assure is a market leading software platform used by service providers worldwide to secure the Voice, SMS, Data service quality in the international telecom network. CSG Assure is used by over 150 telecom providers worldwide, including leading companies like AT&T, Belgacom and Tata. One of the main CSG Assure assets is the Global Test Network of proprietary CSG test nodes covering over 500 mobile networks globally.
As a Test Network Specialist, you will be the overall technical responsible for the CSG Assure Global Test Network and drive technical improvements, perform technical troubleshooting of test nodes and analyze test node related tickets coming in through customer support. You will also provide internal training to the team to share knowledge and experiences. The right person will have great opportunities to develop in the role and become a key player of the team.
The test nodes run on a Linux or Android based platform and have LTE/WCDMA/GSM support connecting to the 500+ mobile networks around the world.
We think that you are an analytical, technically skilled person with a background as support engineer, mobile operator testing engineer or as a developer with a very good understanding of mobile networks and IT. You enjoy technical challenges, troubleshooting and are devoted to providing excellent solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive technical improvement work in the Assure global test network
• Analysis and troubleshooting of Assure test nodes
• Analysis and resolution of test network related customer support cases
Required Skills and Experience
• University degree
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in several of the test node technologies that we use?Mobile technologies: 2G/3G/4G
• Understanding of 3GPP specifications, e.g. 24.008, 23.122, 23.060
• General networking knowledge, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, NAT
• Basic knowledge in Linux commands, shell script, Lua script
• Knowledge in the following tools and technologies is meriting?Mobile phone layer 2/3 signaling trace captured in e.g. QXDM
• Firewall setup, Routing table configuration, Cisco VPN setup, Network topology diagrams
• Wireshark tool
• Mobile network protocols and elements such as MAP, HLR, VLR, SMSC
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills

The CSG Stockholm office is located in Münchenbryggeriet, Södermalm, with a beautiful view of the City Hall on Lake Mälaren.
