hela Sverige Car OEM Solutions within VGT Solution Delivery EMEA (SD EMEA) department is responsible for developing and maintaining our solutions delivered to our external car customers through the WirelessCar brand. Our solution targets the car owner as well as dealers and call centers. Currently we have connected vehicles on many markets around the globe and many roll out initiatives are currently on going. We are now looking for a Test Manager to our external Car OEM Solutions.
Role mission & context
The Test Manager Leader plans, designs, executes and manages the test effort both to the business and IT organization to secure that the quality of the developed and deployed solution meets the demands stated in requirements and acceptance criteria. The Test Manager is responsible for defining and implementing automation test strategies as well as exploratory test strategies.
Key responsibilities
Plan, deploy and manage test team and test activities
Ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable
Identify and describe opportunities for non-functional test activities
Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, business processes and implement recommended tools and methods
Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to get adequate requirement details to test
Ensure that manual / automated test scripts are reviewed and all review comments are closed
Maintain traceability between test / project artifacts
Deliver test deliverables according to project control models
Provide inputs to the project manager / delivery manager and the project team about potential risks, current quality of the product and status of test activities
Ensure defects are correctly reported, analysed, assigned or escalated when needed
Support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that the test data is correct
Identify and describe appropriate test techniques to provide efficient test solutions
Estimate effort of software testing based on provided requirements
Secure that review process is implemented and all test artifacts are reviewed as per standard review process
Create complex manual / automation test scripts
Consolidate test metrics from the team and share with Delivery Manager or the Solution Leader
Assist the Car OEM line manager in forecasting resource needs and recruiting.

Required competencies
A university degree in engineering or computer science or similar
Documented leadership competence and previous experience as Test Manager
Experience from software engineering and agile development
Proficiency in defining and implementing test automation strategies
A global and agile mind-set with strong customer focus
Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
Strong interest in process improvements and ability to create structure
Have capacity to execute against set targets and a ?can do? attitude
Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal and external partners
Customer business knowledge - build, develop, and grow any business relationships
Good planning skills
Fluent in English and Swedish - both written and spoken
