hela Sverige We are looking for an new IT Consultant to join our team to support a project as a Test leader.
The Test Leader will work within Supply Chain and Logistic tests towards a new global e-commerce platform that will serve as base for further online expansion for our client. We expect that you have several years of qualified experience of work with tests and leading a test team. You are used to independently drive the development of tests (in large and complex areas with many contacts both internally and externally). The position is preferable based in Stockholm travel abroad is to be expected.
The new platform is under construction as a part of a Global Online Expansion program, a large business and IT program for establishing e-commerce business for selected countries. The platform is built, maintained and operated by an external provider. It will furthermore have interfaces towards several client IT systems as well as third party systems like Warehouse Management systems (WMS) and Carrier systems.
Your responsibilities
As a Test Leader you will lead a team of test coordinators and work together with the Area responsible for all tests for Project and Maintenance. You will be part of the test team for Supply Chain and Logistic within the program. Your tasks will be a mix of various tasks in the development and test phases in a release. It includes preparation, execution and coordination of tests. The purpose of the test work is to ensure quality of the solution delivered from the external provider and the integration between client systems.
You need to communicate with internal and external stakeholders from IT and Business, and with our external partners.
You are responsible for following guidelines and way of working when it comes to documentation of test scenarios and result.
The assignment will require close collaboration with Suppliers and other functions within your delivery area like Architects, Requirements, as well as leaders within IT and Business. You will also work in close collaboration with other Test teams withi the program.
Your role includes:
• Test all new and existing functionality within the supply chain/Logistic process from purchase to pay and order to cash including reports
• Identify and define the required tests based on specifications for new requirements including test documentation for existing functionality from previous test activities
• Review and evaluate the test coverage
• Define the appropriate tests
• Identify and specify the required test data
• Support in the review and sign-off of test scenarios provided by the external suppliers
• Coordinate tests with Suppliers within a Release
• Investigate and establish the points of contact list for client systems testers and technical support
• Participate in planning of test environments
• Evaluate the outcome of the testing
• Document the results and compare to expected results
• Report and document issues and defects
• Report deviations in the test tool
• Report and collaborate with the Area Responsible for test
