Let's talk about your job
In this manager position, you work with structuring the testing activities of our iOS, Android and web services. You take lead in making sure we run a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that we have a software setup according to the specified principles, standards and end user requirements of our business. This means closely collaborating with our developers, test engineers and tech leads, and making sure that all user facing elements as well as backend services are well tested before upcoming launches or updates of new features. You make sure we run and have competence for both manual and automatic tests (this is truly important), and you collect and prioritize issues, errors and dependencies and sort them in a timely manner.
Together with resources from other departments as well as our stakeholders and suppliers, you define and construct test scenarios, scripts, logics and ways of working to ensure an efficient, reliable and top-notch end-to-end test process. Gathering input from people around you are an important part of your job, and you coordinate with users to plan both alpha and beta user acceptance testing. With your understanding of modern test tools and frameworks, you also mentor and guide us in various test environments.
And what about you?
Ideally, you've been working as a Test Lead or as a Senior Test Analyst in your previous career, but you might also have a background in programming. However, you need a broad knowledge of iOS, Android and web programming (JavaScript/CSS), and it's beneficial with experience of test design techniques, test methodologies and their practical applications. You're used to working with many different interfaces and you have experience from structured and agile test approaches, including automatic test scripts. You also have a relevant IT degree, or you've been gaining equal skills and knowledge through work experience. Since we work locally in a global setting, you communicate fluently in both English and Swedish.
You're a master of managing and engaging stakeholders, and you definitively need these skills as you create strong networks and take part in forums for collaboration. You gather necessary resources and together you test, explore, fix backlogs and bugs, and follow up on the software setup of our digital offering. Being structured, systematic and analytical are other important soft skills for this job. You have the drive to make things happen and you're always on the lookout for development and improvements - keeping us a head within in the field.
