Assa Abloy Entrance Systems is recruiting two Test Leaders to our dynamic R&D team. We are looking for one Test Leader to each of our Business Areas Industrial Door and Docking Solution, and to Pedestrian Door Solutions. You will work mainly with products related to respective Area. As a Test Leader you will both take an active role in development projects and be able to design test specifications and execute tests and write test reports. You will act as a test leader in our product innovation projects. Your task will include test design work as well as using your experience to guide colleagues.
Responsibilities and challenges:
• Act as a test leader in our product innovation projects. You will be responsible for all tasks in the validation process: independently develop test specification from requirements and legacy knowledge about the product, execute the test and write a test report.
• Act as the independent quality guardian of the product development projects, and be able to consolidate and take Go/NoGo decisions in Gate Way- and release-meetings.
• Develop test methods and processes
• Responsible for the quality assuring of the product/system. The products consist of electronics, software and mechanics - it is the full system that should be tested.
You report to our Line manager for Product Validation and Prod. Support line. You are part in a team with members in both Sweden and China.
Background and personal qualities:
We are looking for a self-motivated, analytic person with a high drive and passion. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy contributing to a team but also have the ability to work independently when needed. You cope quickly with change and are willing to learn new skills that the situations require. To be successful in this role you have a degree in engineering and 5 years of broad experience within electromechanical products and systems.
Qualifications - Mandatory
• A Master degree or similar in engineering, Electronic or Computer Science
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience
• Experience from verification of software based electromechanical systems
• Experience from writing test specifications and test reports for electro mechanical systems.
• Ability to speak and write Swedish
• Ability to speak and write fluent English
Qualifications - Meritorious
• ISEB-/ISTQB-Foundation Certificate
• Experience of designing and executing accelerated lifetime tests and reliability tests
• Experience of third party tests lab (SP, UL, TÜV)
• Experience from test tools like LabView
• Experience from organizations with global test setup
