At Scania, we 're committed to creating sustainable transport solutions that add value for our customers. As a premium brand within our industry, we're always pushing the boundaries to stay ahead of the game. That's why we're looking for another Test Leader to join our team and help ensure the quality of our future powertrains. We believe in developing our products and services in a collaborative environment where many of our challenges are solved cross-functional.

Why you should join us

Scania is a forward-thinking organization that values collaboration, customer-centricity, and an agile way of working. By joining our team as a Test Leader, you'll be at the forefront of creating sustainable transport solutions that make a real difference in the world. You'll have the opportunity to work with a talented and committed team of function developers, and you'll be supported by a company culture that values innovation and excellence.

Your role

As one of our Test Leaders, you'll be an integral part of the development and quality assurance of our powertrain control system. You'll work closely with other parts of the development organization to plan and coordinate the verifying and validating tests in our vehicles.

Your main tasks will include:

• Planning the test needs and requirements
• Evaluating and analyzing test results
• Ensuring the department's needs for verification and validation are met
• Coordinating the update of software and test-affecting components
• Compiling and analyzing data from validating vehicle testing

Your profile

We're looking for someone who is driven, curious, and proactive. You should enjoy tackling technical questions and be able to balance a big-picture overview with attention to detail.

You are driven by challenges and see opportunities in applying new techniques and trying new methods. Networking and understanding the needs of those around you come naturally to you.
You should also have experience in project management, coordination, product knowledge, or test/quality assurance. You have strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.

We offer

At Scania, we strive to provide an engaging and challenging work environment where new ideas are welcomed and encouraged. Our company culture values openness, diversity, and respect for the individual. We understand that our employees are our most valuable resource, which is why we invest in training and development opportunities to help them grow with us.

In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes options such as an employee car program, an annual company bonus, an occupational pension plan, flexible working hours, and more. This role also offers a hybrid remote work option, providing the flexibility to work from home or in the office as needed.
