hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Volvo Technology Corporation i Göteborg The System Test and Verification group performs test and verification of software products for the automotive industry, embedded system components as well as back-office systems. We aim to improve product quality by being a part of the complete development process, from the requirements capture phase until the end-to-end delivery test. We also ensure that the software components are well integrated with the hardware and user environment.
We work with formal methods and tools to validate requirement fulfilment and detect defects in the software. We strive to continuously improve our test processes. Examples of our current focus areas are test automation and session based test management. In some projects we use agile methods in close cooperation with our customers. We use tools such as Quality Center and CANoe. Part of our work is performed in our labs, part of it in our test vehicles.
We are now looking for a test leader to strengthen the group.
As a test leader you are involved in the complete development process. You are responsible for the testing of a software product, i.e. coordinating the testers, analysing requirements, creating test strategies, plans and necessary specifications, ensuring a high-quality execution and result always with a focus on requirement fulfilment. Often you will work both as test leader and tester.
You will also take part in improving the work methods of the group and therefore it is a merit if you have good knowledge of test methodologies and experience of improvement work.

You have an open and positive attitude. You are goal-oriented, pro-active and able to work on your own initiative.You also have a strong drive to motivate and coordinate people so that you as a team deliver according to expectations. To share best practices with colleagues is natural for you.
Qualifications:
University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Experience of software test and verification
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Well spoken and written English
Merits:
Test leader experience or other leadership experience
Experience of embedded software
Interest in requirement management
