About the area
Inter IKEA Group is organised in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer.
The enabling functions lead key common activities in networks across Inter IKEA Group, as well as cover specific needs for the core businesses. The five Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.
About the job
The Test Enablement Platform team leads the capability of software testing with methods and tools across Inter IKEA. We enable teams with knowledge, best practices and technical support needed to implement software testing in an impactful manner. As a member of our team, you will help development teams make informed decisions by providing insight and facilitating fast feedback.
We are now looking for our next team member in the Test Enablement Platform who will help drive testing and quality initiatives across Inter IKEA. You will work both on strategy but will also be expected to contribute on hands-on assignments.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in quality and testing engineering, with a knack for combining agile methods with test automation. You are a Test Leader who is seasoned in using Test Automation tools and best practices. If you have exceptional communication skills and the talent to build strong relationships with stakeholders, you'll fit perfectly into our team at Inter IKEA.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
Extensive experience in quality/testing engineering principles and practices.
Experience in combining agile with quality assurance and test automation.
Experience in working with Test Automation tools and best practices.
Have excellent communication skills to build strong relations with our stakeholders.
You also have some of the following experience:
Context-Driven Testing approach to testing.
Strong understanding of API Testing and/or Contract Testing.
Experience setting up Test Automation Frameworks.
Background working with a variety of different technologies and tools.
Experience working with CI/CD tools and SCM tools, preferably GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Programming languages such as Java, Javascript and C#.
Knowledge on non-functional testing and gathering non-functional requirements.
Knowledge of performance testing tools (such as JMeter, K6 and Gatling).
Able to create performance testing plans/approach and strategy.
Familiarity with system/application architecture.
Experience with scripting languages.
Good knowledge in working with cloud technologies like Azure/Openshift etc.
Good knowledge in distributed load testing and infrastructure provisioning.
Additional information
This role is full-time (40 hours per week), and we work in a Hybrid setup where co-workers are expected to come to the office at least 3 days a week.
This role sits in the Technology and Platform area and reports to the Platform Manager - Test Enablement.
