About your role Description of the Division
IT Division Sales Store delivers IT solutions to all our over 4500 stores worldwide. The division is responsible for developing and maintaining the solutions in order to create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. By providing global IT services and solutions we make sure that we always can sell, that we can expand with new stores, that we have the right product at the right place and time to the right price, that we have optimized store operations and that we inspire our customers.
Division Sales Store is one of the largest divisions at IT and has three Service Areas: Sales Store, Store Tools and Sales Merchandising.
Description of the Service Area
SA Store Tools is responsible for the development and maintenance of all IT solutions expect payment in all stores worldwide. This area supports the stores mainly within IT solutions for a great customer experience and store operations, e.g. by inspirational media such as LCD screens, music solution and by store scanners and tablets.
Description of the project/team
We are now looking for a Test lead for our business area Store Tools. In this assignment, you will work as test lead in several maintenance situations and some project situation. You will plan tests, review requirements, write test cases, execute tests and follow up and report progress and results in accordance with our Test strategy. You will also plan and lead our business during acceptance tests and participate in the test process improvement within the business area. You have good communication skills and are good at critical thinking. We mainly work with solutions that are procured from a vendor as a service, therefore it is important to have good insight into service management and vendor relations.
Work tasks
Test planning; plan acceptance tests in accordance with current test strategy
Requirement review; review and give input on requirement documentation from a test perspective
Test design; write test cases based on requirements
Test execution; manual test execution in production like environment
Test reporting; report progress continuously and summarize results in test report.
Includes defect management in ServiceNow.
Test lead and guide business during acceptance tests
Communicate and interact with project members, surrounding departments and external suppliers
Constantly improve way of working both internally and cross functional to assure a better delivery.
Participate in risk workshops
Technical Competences
• Mandatory requirements:
Experience from test execution in maintenance or project situations
At least 1-2 years of test lead experience
Experience of HW testing
Experience of acceptance test towards supplier (HW, Software, Service), end user and business perspective
Experience of working with services and vendors
Experience from Risk based testing
Analytical and able to easily understand problem scenarios and identify appropriate solutions
• Qualifying requirements:
Beneficial with retail experience
Beneficial with ISTQB on foundation level or higher
Experince working in Service Now is an extra plus
• Personal Competences
Excellent communication skills both speaking and writing
Driven and a team player
Social and sales minded
Fluent in Swedish and English
