Do you want to utilize your knowledge and experience within the test field and also grow as a leader? AARO, a Swedish product company that develops a complete system for group accounting, reporting and analysis are now looking for a Test Lead to join their Test Team in Stockholm.

Role Description
As Test Lead you have a crucial role for test and quality assurance within the organization and you will coach and support new Way of Working within the testing area - in close collaboration with both business and IT. In the role you will develop and implement test processes both in regards to an overall test strategy and also defining and setting acceptance criterias, routines, methods and best practises throughout the development cycle. You will define strategies, processes and routines on different levels, such as unit, system and acceptance test.
Main responsibilities for this role will be:
• Review the strategy and process for manual testing - both functional and non-functional
• Preform pre-studies for implementing automated tests
• Formalizing the strategy and process for automated testing
• Support implementation of automated tests
• Be in charge of the test team both on-site and nearshore
• Assure competence growth/skill development of the testing team

The tech stack consists of Java, SQL Server, Delphi, React and REST.

Is this you?
To be successful in this role we think you have a multiple of years experience working within the testing and/or QA area. We also see that you have an ISTQB certification and experience setting up and implementing test strategies and processes. You have the ability to operate on a strategic and tactical level and at the same time have an understating/pragmatic approach to the operational reality.
We also see that you have a wide range of tools/methods and promote agile ways of working. An technical understanding of automated testing - both functional and non-functional is crucial.
As a person, you have great project management and leadership skills and have the ability to enthuse others as well as build and maintain strong relationships with your team as well as with different stakeholders. Further on, you have great problem-solving and communication skills and can freely express yourself in English - both in writing and verbally.
Earlier experience leading a test team, working "hands on" with testing, Lean and/or Prince2 give extra merit.
