hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced test framework architect with development competence in a DevOps environment. You will be technically responsible for developing a generic and stable test framework that is independent of the platform or device under test.
As a test framework architect and developer you will be responsible for building the toolchain and interfaces in between and for the big picture in a DevOps environment. You will present a platform with tools used to solve requirement management, quality/test management and implementation management. The test framework must also secure the interfaces between the proposed platform and other tools.
Your responsibilities: Design and document the test framework based on stakeholders requirements.
Secure test automation execution using a test scheduler. Define how the scheduler distributes and invokes test cases on different devices under test.
Define an open interface towards the device/system under test to make the test framework independent of device/system under test.
Integrate with data base containing test scripts, test data, test libraries.
Secure traceability of the whole tool chain.
Make sure that the test framework supports: Developers: continuous testing secure SW quality.
Operations: regression test execution, test as a service.
Collaborate to ensure we re-use and build on and any already existing test frameworks at our clients company.
At a later stage: management of test beds and test objects (manual, auto, distributed, on prem or cloud).
We expect you to have:
Experience from work in DevOps environment. See the big picture as well as the ability to analyze the details.
Development skills: scripting as well as high level programming languages.
Test automation experience.
Test frameworks and test tools experience.
The possibility to have "test/test architect" role as well as "designer/developer/configuration" role.
Experience from scripting of test cases
Desired skills:
IT practical experience.
Common ITIL processes knowledge is beneficial.
ISTQB certified.
Have experience in some of the IT modern technologies such as: modern digital work place, Cybersecurity, Digitalization, Virtualization.
As a person you are: Passionate about driving the test framework which will have a big impact on test efficiency at our clients company.
Open and able to communicate with stakeholders and engineers, listen and share competence.
Dedicated to deliver quality and add customer value.
A good communicator and have the mindset to solve problems and find solutions.
