Within ÅF Automotive R&D, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM's, startup companies and system suppliers (Tier 1). We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
To strengthen our Electronics team, we are now looking for experienced Test Engineers for electrical and electronic vehicle systems. As a Test Engineer you will lead or participate in test and verification of new vehicle electronics systems, such as active safety, electrical propulsion, body electronics etc. Work tasks include requirement reviews, test planning, test methods and test case development, test and verification work, test report development etc. You will work either in the customers organization or at our office and have many internal and external interfaces in Sweden as well as abroad.
Who are you?
You are a brave and devoted team player with knowledge in automotive electrical systems and you want to strongly contribute in our customers development projects. You are an experienced user of test tools such as CANoe CANalyzer and ETAS/INCA. You have good understanding of in vehicle networks e.g. Flexray, CAN, LIN and Autosar. You are familiar with the use of requirement and issue management systems and understand the needs when it comes to functional safety related validation. You are the engineer that makes a difference. Your academic background is a Bachelor or Master degree, but most important is your experience from vehicle electrical systems test and/or development. You may have previously been working at a global OEM or Tier 1, but is now looking for a new challenging career path. Your business English is fluent both verbally and in writing and you communicate easily with both peers and upper management. Being professional is key and you always act upon the best interest of the company. You are within the business known for your strong integrity and you share ÅF's view on ethics and values. A Swedish driver license is required.
