Senior and Junior Test Engineers!

At Product&Quality you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. At Volvo Cars, we have an Agile Organization where we develop our product features and functions continuously in Product Streams with a complete lifecycle responsibility. The three Product Streams within the unit Vehicle Software&Electronics are:
* In-Car Digital - Infotainment, Digital User Experience, Connectivity
* Base Software - Electrical and Electronics Systems
* Autonomous Drive - Active Safety and autonomous drive functions
Main Responsibilities of the Department
As we are extending our teams, we are now looking for Software Test Engineers which will focus on component and system testing. We are seeking those with a passion for deep analysis while solving complex problems as we supply, analyze and evaluate proposals to new or revised technical solutions. You will be joining teams, which are growing quickly, that are responsible for securing new technologies and applications. As a test engineer, you will be working together with team members which focuses on either unit testing, integration testing or end-to-end testing. The teams will have close interaction with local or cross functional teams and suppliers consisting of software architects, software developers and technical experts from various areas.
We create and execute test plans (device and system), write test reports for device testing and system testing for our software and technical solutions. We also do compliance testing on systems that include platform and software. Our responsibility is test development including definition and implementation of test system and software to support manual and automated testing. We build up or enhance existing automation framework, we perform deep analysis when needed and troubleshoot problems.

Requirements:
University degree in Electrical or Computer engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Programming skills and work experience in various script languages e.g. Python.
Documented knowledge/experience in working as test engineer.
Excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Meritorious Experiences:
ISTQB certification
Work experience with CANoe, LINUX OS
Knowledge about TCP/IP communication, Robot Test Automation Framework, Google C++ Testing Framework
Knowledge of AUTOSAR
Valid Swedish driving license (B)
Recruitment Information
Location for this position is either Gothenburg or Lund, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
