To assemble and disassemble test setups and to operate advanced equipment with appropriate competence including mechanical systems, lubrication units, hydraulic systems, data control and acquisition systems
To coordinate and carry out project activities to verify and/or validate models, technology and/or products, both as project member and as project leader
To develop test programs, procedures or test strategies
To report on work progress, results, conclusions, and recommendations
To ensure that EHS (environment, health and safety) regulations and guidelines are followed
To ensure that SKF internal quality systems and standards and other applicable standards are followed
Requirements
University degree in mechanical engineering or other related field, alternatively technical high school education with more than 5 years of working experience in relevant field
Knowledge on measurements and measurements chain accuracy
Knowledge on data acquisition and control systems (preferably NI Labview)
Ability to understand, modify and improve technical drawings. Ability to use design software, preferably CREO
Knowledge and experience of metrology and calibrations, both on performing calibration of instruments and setting calibrations procedures and methodologies
