hela Sverige We are now seeking a Test Engineer for our customer in Stockholm.
As a part of the Swedish Test Engineering team you will work with other Test Engineers and developers to create the newest generation of products for search engines. You will search for, investigate, report and track defects. You will utilise your software skills to drive test planning, develop the test environment, execute functional manual and automated tests and deliver in depth defect report analysis and problem isolation.
Responsibilities:
• Developing test strategies and writing test plans.
• Executing manual and automating tests using pre-agreed test frameworks.
• Write code/scripts to test systems.
• Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality.
• Create test harnesses and infrastructure.
• Co-ordinate and schedule test sessions, working closely with other teams around the world
You have:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Manual testing experience.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies, defect reporting processes and software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of automated test methods and processes.
• Extensive understanding of desktop operating systems and browsers.
• Deep knowledge of internet technologies.
• Project planning and scheduling knowledge and experience.
• Project management experience
• Automated testing experience.
• Experience of software development.
• Passion and drive for technology.

Computer skills:
• Programming skills in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python or Perl.
• Highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Good scripting skills (Awk, Sed, Perl, Shell)
You speak english and swedish fluently.
