We are looking for an individual who is interested in Product Development in general, but preferably towards complete drive line testing. You have ambition and energy to develop yourself in a way that can lead to new tasks and responsibilities. The department Marine Test Center within Product Development is responsible for testing and optimization regarding performance, noise emissions, NVH, reliability and durability in the complete boat installation, including everything from helm to propeller.
The department is today about 30 persons working in different roles. Our ambition is to keep a holistic view of our products so the team are taking care of all the different stages in the product cycle of the complete boat installation - from new development projects via product maintenance to quality issues and feedback from the market. This approach also means that you as a test engineer can be faced with a wide variety of tasks. Your main task will be to perform complete drive line testing including engine, transmission and other components. You will also perform endurance and functionally testing on all types of Volvo Penta products.

Your CV should contain listed qualifications in academic degrees Bsc, Msc or a well experienced technical college graduate, you should be able to communicate in both English and Swedish and have a valid driver license.
Boat experience and nautical competence is an advantage. (Skeppare klass VIII, Maskinbefäl klassVIII, Hantering snabba fartyg).
