Job Description:
We are currently looking for a test engineer with interest in the quality of software within one of the subdivisions Navigation, Telemetric / Connectivity or Infotainment.
The main tasks are quality assurance in the designated area of responsibility. This includes inspection of requirement documents, development of test methods, and planning for, and implementation of, testing in the laboratory as well as in the field.
Main responsibilities:
As a test engineer, you are responsible for the analysis and verification within its own sphere of responsibility, but you are also involved in some activities in other areas of the infotainment system.
The work involves contact with system-, and component owners within infotainment. You will participate in review meetings, project meetings, plan for, as well as execute test and communicate outturn of work performed.
An important item on the group's agenda is to work with more efficient methods, for example in the form of test automation, intelligent co-operation with suppliers and more. The group's aim is to include these ideas in everyday work where it is possible to constantly develop our internal process.
Deliveries and responsibility:
Participate in the planning of the test needs in designated area
Preparation and implementation of planned activities within system responsibility
Report test results through reports in the form of e-trackers, Lab95 and / or in Elektra
Participate in work with test automation and other efficiency in the field
Participate in peer reviews of requirements documents in the area of responsibility.
Profile Qualifications:
Technical education in the electrical / electronics 120/160/180 p or equivalent
Experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems, preferably from Automotive industry
Experience in technical project management
Experience in test automation and simulation
Driving license B
Experience in one or more of the following areas are an advantage:
Knowledge of the Infotainment area
Knowledge of VCC's base technologies / concepts and related tools
Knowledge of VCC's SW-handling process
CANoe / CANalyzer
General experience in testing
Personal Profile:
