Dfind Science & Engineering is growing and we are looking for engineers with automotive experience for several new exciting assignments in the Automotive industry. We believe that you have work for at least three years before or after your engineering graduation with relevant experience from Sweden or from abroad.
Location: Göteborg

Scope: 6 months assignment with possible extension or transition to the client
Assignment:
Set feature targets and deliver the technical requirements upstream in the projects using a concurrent test and simulation process. Perform physical and virtual testing such as performance and fuel consumption measurements or calculation, wind resistance and soiling, climate testing, durability, and noise testing.
In order to keep up with modern standards and legislation as well as staying ahead of the competition Fuel economy and consumption is one of the top prioritized areas for our automotive client. Vehicle Productivity verifies and validates customer features in projects that focus on enhancement of vehicle lifetime productivity for the truck end customers. The team 's main goal is to sustain and strengthen our leading position on Heavy Trucks around the globe.
Description:
The Driving Performance Team is now looking for a Test engineer with good analytic competence within the Driving Performance area, consisting of the features Fuel economy, Average speed and Drivability. You will be part of a tight team working towards the common goal of reducing fuel consumption with sustained drivability. The role has both theoretical and practical content and gives a good possibility to try the theories in reality and really get the feeling for how things work from an end customer perspective.
• Physical testing on complete vehicle level in laboratory and in vehicle on road/at proving ground. Definition, follow-up and make analysis from tests on complete vehicle level
• Communication with design departments and report tests results
• Continuously improve the knowledge within the feature area and develops test methods
• Handle test equipment and objects, support with conducting the full test Requirements:
• Academic degree in engineering or equivalent
• Experience from automotive development or testing is a merit
• English proficiency
As this is both an analytical and practical position we think that in order to be successful the right candidate has the ability to coordinate both his or hers own work and the work of others in a structured way. We also think that an analytical mindset and knowledge in measurement technology and instrumentation as well as data logging is key to success.
