The Strength and Durability Laboratory is locking for a test engineer in the field of durability testing of Engine installations.
We are testing complete cars and parts of cars against service life demands.
We are also involved in solving the durability problems we find during testing of cars in new car projects. We are today approx 50 persons split in 4 different groups
Our group Mechanical Testing of Chassis and Power train Installation are locking for a new engineer. We are today 9 engineers working in an inspiring environment of challenging technical problems
In Your work you will perform tests of the engine installation and analyse test results.
You will also plan, participate in and analyse RLD ( Road Load Data ) measurements from our test track and public roads. As a part of the engine installation test team you will face many challenges, complicated dynamic behaviour, cracks in rubber parts, hot engine bay and its effect on rubber fatigue life. All found problems are solved in a close corporation with our design departments.
Qualifications
MSc in mechanical engineering or similar
Fluent in English
Driving Licence
Merits for the position
Experience in Dynamics and Signal analysis
Material knowledge, both metallic and polymeric material
Personal Profile
Ability to both work independent and in teams
Good communication skills
