Within crash and strength testing, we have a support team who supports all our rigs with different tasks.

The tasks is to develop and secure best available techniques, adaptation of test equipment for use in testing, secure measurement accuracy/uncertainty, develop standards and perform fault tracing when issues occur. Strategic work, investments, and purchasing is a major part of the daily work. In some cases, we also set up learning sessions. We work closely together with all our customers, both internal (mainly Safety Centre) and external customers so called sold services.

The group will be five people in total, working in different areas such as IT - hardware and software, quality/accreditation, standardization work, measurement and signal processing, film/photo etc.

We work both with support to Passive safety and Active safety

Main Responsibilities:
* Work strategically with measurement technology issues at an overall level
* Provide specialist competence in preparation for the development of new technologies
* Responsible and participates in a team for the creation of measurement uncertainty calculations within the respective measurement values
* Perform impact assessments and initiate improvement work in the field of technology
* Supports the testing process in connection with measurement problems
* Initiate and prepare new investments
* Evaluation and purchase of sensors and test equipment
* Manufacturing of test equipment and break out boxes to ensure the capacity
* Ensure competence, working methods and methods in connection with the introduction of new measurement technology

Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
* Knowledge of measurement technology and data acquisition
* Knowledge of signal analytics
* Knowledge of electricity
* Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
* Good knowledge of PC environment and standard PC applications
* Driving license B

Preferred Qualifications:

* Any experience working with electrical or hybrid cars

* Experience of DEWESOFT equipment and software
