As a Test Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the integration and functional tests, customer acceptance tests as well as regression testing of our complete autonomous solutions. You will develop and perform tests with vehicles (both manned and unmanned), connected infrastructure as well as with our robot platform for dynamic scenario testing. You will also take part in developing our way of working, securing/develop our test sites and our test toolchain. Some travelling may be needed since our customers and partners is located around the globe.

Which qualifications and skills do you need to succeed?

• Self-driven team player with a focus on collaboration
• Technical university degree
• Experience from software testing, functional testing of embedded systems or similar.
• Languages: English in written and verbal communication / Swedish a plus
• Experience from automotive industry is a plus
• Driver's license B
• Driver's license for heavy vehicles is also needed for this role and opportunity to achieve this will be supplied if not in place



Who are we as a team?

We are part of the group Autonomous Function Test with the responsibility for testing the complete autonomous solutions. We work closely with our agile release trains developing our autonomous solutions and work both with planning, strategy and hands on testing both in Södertälje and at customers sites. We are a team with extensive experience in vehicle testing who enjoy working together and reaching our goals. We enjoy solving problems both within the team and across the agile release trains.

Who am I as your manager?

I see my role as a manager to create an atmosphere that promotes personal development by empowering co-workers, clarifying our mission, being challenging but also fair and by respecting individual needs and diversity. I have 16 years of experience of automotive system development, 13 of those as a leader. Following my core principles of Trust, Respect, Support and Fun I stand behind the teams and team members in every challenge.
