About the role
In your role as a test engineer, you will be testing and developing the active safety and automation systems of our vehicles in projects, as part of advanced engineering and product maintenance.
Your work will vary between preparing and performing tests, driving trucks, analyzing data, write reports, participating in project meetings and cooperating with colleagues around the world. Evidently, the versatile and challenging nature of the work requires a flexible mindset, something that we find very valuable.
Assignment Description
Our main mission is to perform tests on the vehicles' active safety and automation systems and then analyze and report the results. The tests are performed in simulations, both on test tracks and on open roads. Part of the mission is to develop test methods and simulations methods within this area in order to continuously improve our knowledge on the feature scope.

Who are you?
We believe that the right person for this position has an interest in the automotive industry and has a curiosity and passion for working with heavy duty trucks. Your role as a test engineer of Active Safety requires you to understand and drive the end customer needs towards the products. Your final goal is customer success!
Required competencies:
• M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Proficiency in English
Preferred qualifications
• Experience from truck development
