We are now looking for a Test Engineer to our team within the Interior Comfort Systems Business Segment. The position will be part of a skilled team based at Kongsberg's Technical Center in Mullsjö, Sweden and you will report directly to Validation Manager.
Role description
Your focus is to ensure that requirements are established, and that products are verified with reliable Methods in relation to the stated requirements. You will analyze failures, build/design, test, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electro-mechanical test-lab equipment.
Some key deliverables, but not limited to:
• Lead techs in test methods and use of equipment to complete product validation testing
• Produce written work instruction, disseminate resulting data and write clear concise reports
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors
• Work in a team environment and have a proven record of accomplishment in collaborating / interacting with engineering
• Create project-specific quality plans, test outlines and internal work instructions.
• DFMEAs or 8D problem solving
Candidate profile
We are looking for you with a BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering from University with two or more years hands on experience in related engineering field. Hopefully, you have a background in the automotive industry and are used to work with people around the world. We believe that you have experience with data acquisition, use of sensors, signal conditioning, AutoCAD/Catia. To have a solid working knowledge of NI LabVIEW or Visual basics will be considered as a plus. Knowledge of a lab test environment is essential with Solid working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, test equipment and test setups. You are proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. You have strong organization and time management skills - ability to plan and work on multiple, on-going projects. Fluent in Swedish and in English, verbal and written, is a requirement. As a person, you are result driven and enjoy challenges. We see that you have a problem-solving approach with a strong "can do" attitude and follow through on actions taken.
