As our Nordic Test Engineer, you will work with test processes in close cooperation with both our implementation project teams as well at our development teams. The activities will be in connection to projects throughout the Nordic Region, but the position is located in Gothenburg close to our R&D departments. You will report to our Nordic Professional Services Director who is located in Denmark.
The Test Engineer is responsible for creating test cases according to contract requirements as well as conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by our developers fits its purpose according to the project contract. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing of tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the system. You will be responsible for documentation of defects and progress of the tests.
Personal Skills
To enjoy and be successful in this position, you need to be an enthusiastic, inventive and a quality oriented person. We expect you to be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work and communicate with all levels in the organization. You must be able to communicate in English.
We believe you have experience as tester, preferably with ISTQB certification, are methodical, well organized and have good analytical skills. You are also a self-reliant individual and a keen team player. You find it interesting and important to work with improvement of Ascom products.
