Job Description:
We are currently looking for a performance and calibration engineer for one of our customers in Gothenburg. The assignment will be to develop engine performance for a complete heavy duty system - Engine and Exhaust After-treatment System.
The main responsibilities are:
• Data setting for the complete system - Engine and Exhaust After-treatment System - that influence the engine performance and emissions for the engine projects.
• To define the engine HW specification (Fuel injection equipment, Turbo, EGR system, Combustion bowl etc.)
The data setting and HW specification should meet the defined project requirements (such as emission demands, fuel consumption, drivability, etc.). This is done by engine testing and using analysis tools (calculation models) within the project together with the advanced engineering, design, function and calibration groups. Experimental work in vehicle and method development will also be a part of the work. The assignment will require some work during evenings, weekends and occasional expeditions.
Your Profile:
We see that you have some or several years' experience from engine development and have an open and down to earth personality. You have a passionate interest in technology and are a collaboration oriented and responsive person with a high level of service. You have an ease of understanding new data, you are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with customers and their suppliers.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc. Mechanical engineering or higher
• Experience from engine development, calibration and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience from project- and test planning
• High level of communication
• Experience from On-board diagnostics (OBD) is meritorious
