Why you should join us
Welcome to a newly formed team where we value openness and sharing of knowledge. You will be an important part of our work to continue to build our team forward, which also gives you a lot of opportunities to affect the processes and the daily work.
We are working with powertrains that year after year are ranked on top in different market segments and rewarded with several awards for their functionality and efficiency and you will be an instrumental part of delivering world-class software.
What we are doing
We are committed to adding customer value by developing and ensuring the quality of the powertrains for the future, electrified and conventional, for our TRATON brands -Scania, Navistar, MAN, and Power Solutions. By doing this we are enabling the brands to stay on top as premium brands within our industry and driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system. This will only be achieved if we together understand our customers and their need, which is also the reason why our function developers and QA/QC engineers are working together to develop and ensure the quality of the functionality.
As with our past products and services, we believe that our future ones need to be developed with a strong customer-centric approach and in a collaborative environment where many of our challenges are solved cross-functional. Hence, we advocate an agile way of working where both the individual as well as the team have a significant impact on the product.
Your role
Now you have an opportunity to join us as a QA/QC engineer focused on test development for one of our teams.
While working in our team you gain comprehensive knowledge of the gearbox management system, a good overview of how the functions are connected in the software, and how the functions interact with the vehicle. The work consists of a big variety of tasks; such as analysis of requirements, development of test cases and scripts for verification of new functionality, and performing tests in both vehicles and simulated environments.
Your profile
You can quickly familiarize yourself with advanced problems with a desire to find creative solutions together with your colleagues. As the job involves many interfaces, you are responsive to various inputs and have no difficulties making new contacts. You are good with planning and organizing with a service-minded approach.
You are experienced in programming and software development, preferably in an agile environment with Jira. Powertrain knowledge is meriting.
You have a relevant university education or similar and you are fluent in English in both speech and writing. Communication skills in Swedish are meriting.
Do you recognize yourself in the above? Then we look forward to your application!
We offer
Working at Scania you are offered benefits such as an option to sign an agreement employee car, a yearly company bonus, an occupational pension, flexible working hours, and much more. This role is with a hybrid remote work possibility. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service from Stockholm City, via Liljeholmen to Södertälje, called Scania Job Express, for the days when you do want to go to the office.
