Ericsson Supply Site in Kumla is globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialization and initial production of the next generation radio base stations.

Publiceringsdatum2011-01-29Dina arbetsuppgifterThe purpose of this position is to ensure optimal implementation, support and maintenance of test solutions. As a test engineer you will work to either develop new or to enhance and maintain existing test systems, and you will investigate and solve test related problems and deficiencies. The purpose is to ensure decided quality, cost and our ability to produce our products.
As a test engineer you are expected to educate other groups of engineers within the test and product areas in order to secure competence in the local organization and at other production sites within our area of responsibility.
You are also expected to travel abroad with the purpose of setting up new test systems and support local engineers; this means you will work with several nationalities and cultures both in person and from a distance.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You should have a university degree in engineering and/or several years of experience as a test engineer or similar line of work.
Our test systems are a complex mix of instruments, electronics and software's, and there for we want you to have very good knowledge of PC-software, electronics, measurement methodology and RF.
Since you will be working with engineers from different parts of the world it is of importance that you understand and accept cultural differences and that you are comfortable with reading and speaking both Swedish and English.
